We are Travis & Amanda Durand. We have 5 kids that age
from 14 to 3 years. Travis is a stay at home Dad, sort of, as well as track maintanance crew. Amanda is an
RN.
D Track is not the "BIG" operation
you see at many MX tracks. We are not the million dollar facility and more than likley will never be. We do however, have
a huge place in the sport of Motocross. We've always been seen as the little backyard track. But we've also had some huge
races in the past 6 years of being open to the public. It's almost like we are becoming the big little backyard track.
The main thing about us is that
we are first a ministry. Everything else is, and will always be built on the foundation of a Christian faith in our God &
Savior Jesus Christ. Not to be confused with religion. We know Jesus as The 1 and only way to a life eternal after life that
we know here is gone. This is not saying we think ourselves to be without the same shortfalls that every one of us have. We
have flaws, we mess up, all the problems of who we are as humans don't go away for Christians. We only fight against it with
the only power that can prevail, Our Heavenly Father and his grace, forgiveness, and strength.
D Track is not a second rate track
though. We have something on this track for everyone. It's designed first with safety in mind. Built for every racer. It's
got some tight jump sections much like an arenacross track. And also has plenty of sweeping turns, whoops, and a little elevation
change too. We think of this track as a stepping stone of sorts. We don't think we'll ever compete with a more national
style track, we also know it takes time to become the type of rider that has a place on a national style track. We want riders
to be able to come here and get the basics and learn everything they need to know. We've helped produce some of Kentucky,
Ohio, and Indiana's faster racers and who know's maybe you'll be the next big thing in our sport. We hope we can help you
become all you were meant to be, on and off the track.
